GEOS does not have the ability to run multiple applications at the same time. However, there are certain applications (like GEO-Write or GEO-Paint) that will temporarily suspend operation so you can run a “mini-app”, like Calculator, Notepad or Photo Manager. When you're done using the mini-app and close it, the main application then resumes operation.

The caveat with this function is that the mini-app must reside on the same floppy disk as the main application that you're using.

To see the available mini-apps at your disposal, click on GEOS in the top border menu bar. A list of the apps will appear and you just have to click on the one you wish to use.
